Hello and welcome! I'm Kristy, and I'm glad you're here. Let me tell you a bit about myself. After spending over ten years in education, I decided to start a small private practice. My journey began at the Winnipeg Expressive Arts Therapy Institute, where I learned to connect and inspire through the arts. As a graduate, I've seen how creative expression can greatly improve emotional well-being, and I'm here to help you on your journey of self-discovery and healing.
For more than a decade, I worked as a teacher, helping my students grow and gain confidence. These experiences shape my approach to expressive arts therapy. By combining education and therapy, I've learned how powerful creative expression can be for personal growth.
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time with my three young daughters. As a mother, I understand how important it is to nurture creativity and provide a safe space for emotions. Our family's love for community brings us closer, and I see firsthand how the arts can foster connection.
I'm also active in my local community theatre and choir groups, promoting artistic expression and well-being. Through community events, I aim to create spaces where creativity thrives and people feel comfortable expressing themselves.
At Northern Insights, I'm here to help you discover, heal, and grow. Whether you want to express your emotions, overcome challenges, or connect with your inner self, I'll support you every step of the way.
Warmly,
Kristy
